What is Net Neutrality? Why should you vote for it? (Net Neutrality in India)

What is Net Neutrality?

Net neutrality (also network neutrality, Internet neutrality, or net equality) is the principle that Internet service providers and governments should treat all data on the Internet equally,
As stated in Wikipedia article, it simply means that all the data on the internet should be treated same. No discrimination should be over different sites.

Now it’s turn of Indian people to vote for Net Neutrality to TRAI before the deadline on 24th April 2015. So after reading this article please please please vote to TRAI.(Indian readers)

Why should you vote for Net Neutrality?

You should because of below reasons:

  • ISP(s) shouldn’t slow down any website or the speed of the website.
  • ISP(s) shouldn’t be allowed to block any content.
  • Internet should be open, anyone can access any content/website with no discrimination.
  • The video from the AIB gives you so much clear information about Net Neutrality. You can see it here.

Anyway it’s simple if you don’t want to pay extra on using WhatsApp/on using Twitter/or like that then you should send email to TRAI as soon as possible.

I’ve already sent the mail. You should post about Net Neutrality in Social Media so that your friends and followers be aware of it and also suggest them to send an email to TRAI as soon as possible.

I like how people are being aware of it because today I’ve seen a trend on #NetNeutrality in Facebook. I wish people support it as we should all have access to the Open Internet.

I suggest you to email now. If you can’t send it now. You should before 24th April 2015. I suggest you to put it in your to-do list before 24th April 2015. I mostly save my stuff on Google Keep so you can use it too.

I am repeating, You should share this post in the Social Media.

Thanks.
